I don't have answers or explanations for the Iraq war. I am not a soldier and have never fired a weapon. I don't understand how violence and killing can solve humanity's problems.I only have questions, many, many questions:
Can you believe that five years have past since the start of the Iraqi war?
Do you remember what you were doing?
Do you have the same job?
Has your life improved due to this war?
How many scandals has the Bush Administration weathered since the start of the war?
How many limbs have been lost?
How many soldiers' lives have been permanently changed?
How many Iraqis have been killed?
How soldiers have been killed?
How many people have been killed?
How much property has been destroyed?
How many resources have been wasted?
How many families' have lost loved ones?
How much will the war cost me?
How much will the war cost all of us?
What are the real costs of the war? Life? Limbs? Children?, The Future?
How many question do you have?
What do Iraqi children think about this war?
What do Iraqi mothers think about this war?
How are we going end this war?
How are we going to fix Iraq now?
When will the war end?
What will history think of us for the war?

questions that the Bush administration do not want answered until he is no longer at the helm and can't be hauled in for crimes against humanity.
ReplyDeleteAnd do we set ourselves up as judge, jury, and executioner?
ReplyDeleteAnd who without sin among us will cast the first stone?
What's next?
ReplyDeleteI'm going all shallow on you tonight. I'm here just to tell you, my friend, that you've been tagged for the Movie Quotes Meme.
ReplyDeleteWho said questions were allowed? How un-American.
ReplyDeleteThis is great Mathman.
Good questions, Mathman. I have one more: How do asshats Bush and Cheney define the "VICTORY" they insist we must acheive?
ReplyDeleteI also have a suggestion for the asshats. Every evening, before they retire to their lush, comfy beds, they should spend 1/2 hour looking at photographs of American soldiers who have survived the horror of the war, but have been horribly maimed, scarred and/or dismembered in the process. THEN, they should spend another 1/2 hour looking at photographs of Iraqi children who have suffered similar fates. Sweet dreams, asswipes.
Yes, yes, yes, n/a, same as his predecessors, had to say, does not apply, a lot, not too many, a lot, a lot, too broad to answer, a lot, not much, not much, hard to say, not too many, depends on the region, depends on the region, same way we started, depends on point of view, hard to say, depends on who wins.
ReplyDeletemathman-I think that this is just the thing about this war-(not like war ever ever solves anything)it has caused us to have more questions than answers. If there are any answers at all.
